I hope this post finds you well and ready for a little change of pace. It's time to spill the beans on a shift in my writing journey that I'm absolutely thrilled about. Since 2011, I've been weaving tales of passion, love, and small-town charm in my steamy cowboy romance novels, and have thoroughly enjoyed bringing those stories to life. But, with that said, it's time to embark on a new adventure.
Cue the drumroll, please.
I'm stepping into a realm of sweet small-town romance novels with just the right amount of sizzle to keep the pages turning! Now, before you worry that I'm dialing down the heat too much, let me assure you ... the sparks will still fly, and the chemistry will be as electric as ever. We're just taking a slight detour into the "leave some things to the imagination" territory.
Why the change, you ask? Well, to be honest, I've always had a certain level of uncomfortableness with writing love scenes. It's a constant worry of mine when I'm working on a new story. Am I adding too much detail? Not enough? Is all this description absolutely necessary to keep the story moving along? When I realized that my books were just as good without all of the love making details, I knew it was time for a shift. I want my stories to focus more on the power of connection, the tender moments, the laughter, and the joy of falling in love in a close-knit community.
But fear not, for there will be no shortage of passion. The bedroom doors may be closed, but there'll still be plenty of tension, longing glances, anticipation, and steamy kisses to make your heart race and leave you breathless.
I'm beyond excited to share this new chapter with you and to continue our journey together. The charming towns, quirky characters, and love stories that will make your heart swell – it's all coming your way. So buckle up and get ready for a ride filled with love, laughter, and just the right amount of sizzle to keep things interesting.
